Bintang Subsea Ventures (M) SDN BHD have been audited by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and granted a Certificate of Service Recognition for meeting the ABS requirements for a service provider for In-Water Survey. An important milestone in the development of the Bintang Subsea Group to achieve this service recognition, expanding the groups service capabilities for underwater survey and inspection.

Bintang Subsea recently provided critical survey and positioning services, as part of a complex, yet very successful subsea hyperbaric welding project. The project required timely and accurate high resolution seabed surveys, ROV and diver based pipeline inspections, and high precision positioning and stability monitoring of subsea piling to support the efficiency and safety of the works

Bintang Subsea recently completed an ultra high resolution multibeam echosounder survey of live gas pipelines prior to critical repair works commencing. Fast turnaround of results was required, to update the pipeline profiles and pipeline separation information. Bintang Subsea designed an accurate and cost effective solution, that provided precise measurements for engineering and installation planning, confirmed to be within centimeters of subsequent diver measurements.
