Our History and Timeline

Bintang Subsea starts its journey by establish Bintang Subsea Singapore (BSS) on 16th January 2012, we also established Bintang Subsea Indonesia (BSI) on 10th April 2012. A year later, Bintang Subsea expand to Brunei Darussalam by established Bintang Subsea Brunei (BSS) on 11th April 2013 to cover more region and handle more projects. In 2017, a merger between Bintang Group Companies and Shelf Group makes us stronger than ever. Now Bintang Subsea is one of Asia’s leading independent subsea, dive contractor, survey service company. 

2012
Bintang Subsea was established

Establishment of Indonesia and Singapore offices. Quickly grown into one of the most recognized company within the survey and subsea inspection throughout Asia pacific

2013
Establishment of Brunei Office

A year later, Bintang Subsea expand to Brunei Darussalam by established Bintang Subsea Brunei (BSS) on 11th April 2013 to cover more region and handle more projects.

2016
Bintang Subsea Malaysia

Bintang subsea acquire a fully Petronas licensed company. Establishment of Malaysia and Myanmar offices

2017
Merger with Shelf Subsea Group

Completion of a merger between the Shelf Group and Bintang Group of companies

2019
Expand Services in Papua New Guinea

Bintang Subsea with TWL Group completed a join campaign to expand the services for Papua New Guinea

2022
1.5 Million Work Hours without LTI

In 2022, we  achieved total 1,625,442 safe manhours without LTI for 10 years. Bintang Subsea Group maintain its operation to done safely
